| 36" x 48" acrylic on wood This painting is one of my own "takeover" pieces. It was originally a Hugo painting where he was barbequing parts of a human female corpse. It was sitting around in my studio for ten years. I grew very tired of painting narratives based on what IS ON THE NEWS EACH DAY, so I reworked the entire piece in the new abstract style (repainting with eyes closed a design of an art cell with pizza), then feeling the organic nature of the world through my paint brush. |
