| 48" x 48" acrylic on wood This collaboration betwen Kelly and I is about several people sitting and drinking in a bar. The Cap Log bar in Fairhaven Massachussetts was Kelly's favored location, and the Little Dipper in New Bedford was mine. We are drinking together and drawing sketches about our pizza theme. Also, Hugo is sitting at the bar drinking heavily. There is a lizard on his shoulder and his dog Ginger by his feet. On lower right is the "Huntress" scalloper vessel that Kelly worked on for 10 years. It is also a metaphor for the ship of fools whereby people can destroy themselves with vice and other bad choices in life.
